Washington City Directory Pages 1879 - 1980 $3.00 digital/$3.50 paper These are pages from various city directories in Washington state. They are helpful for narrowing down death date ranges, for determining when an individual has left or arrived in an area, and for finding place of residence and occupation. See Sample City Directory Page and abbreviations keys.
General Info: Record usually includes name, residence address, and occupation, and sometimes includes work place, name of married man’s wife, or name of widow’s late husband. Two free ones online that I have found: Seattle 1923, and Tacoma 1921. Most of the directories are available within the time ranges listed below, but there are a few gaps and missing books, so the exact year is not guaranteed. If the year you request is not on the shelf, I will check the books from both the previous AND the following year. Available directories are:
Fees & delivery: $3.00 per lookup for a link to a digital image that you can view or print from your own computer, or $3.50 for a paper copy mailed to you. You will see/receive the page(s) showing the entry or lack of entry. Delivery time for the digital image is usually 5 business days or less from the time I receive your request and payment. Add extra time for the P.O. to deliver a paper copy.
