Birth Index Lookups
Washington State Birth Index Pages 1907 - 1954 $3.00 digital/$3.50 paper The Birth Index pages show any entries for the parent names and time range (i.e. reel#) that you provide. They are great for finding exact birth dates, births of children you didn’t know about, and on earlier records, the maiden names of mothers.
General Info: Record may include soundex code, father’s name, city or county of birth, birth date, certificate number, child’s name, mother’s maiden name on pre-1940 records, gender, & race. Ancestry.com has 1907 - 1919, and you might also check the Washington State Archives (see Links) to see if they can do a quick lookup for you. A few of the earlier index pages are difficult to read because they are microfilmed images of paper carbon copies. Index dates are from July 1, 1907 through 1954 only. To tell me which microfilm reel you want searched, pick from the following time ranges:
Fees & delivery: $3.00 per name requested for a link to a digital image that you can view or print from your own computer, or $3.50 for a paper copy mailed to you. You will see/receive the page(s) showing the entry or lack of entry. Delivery time for the digital image is usually 5 business days or less from the time I receive your request and payment. Add extra time for the P.O. to deliver a paper copy.
